Procurer Meets Producer
Procurer Meets Producer was a pilot event that was hosted by the THA and held at Willie Smiths Cidery & Apple Shed Restaurant last Tuesday. The night was a resounding success, with a great mix of over 80 small farm producers and Hospitality venue owners, operators, chefs and FOH staff.
The discussion was around the challenges that restrict chefs and small producers doing business together and ways forward.
THA is reviewing the outcomes from the night and some the ways forward to overcoming the issues that both side have to getting more Tasmanian produce into our hospitality venues across the state.
