The RACV/RACT Hobart Apartment Hotel is currently seeking friendly Front Office Receptionists to join their accommodation team on either a casual or full time basis.
We are looking for someone who strives in providing excellent customer service, is a natural at building rapport with members and guests to ensure their stay with us is memorable.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Receiving and processing reservations, checking in/out members, guests and conference delegates, meeting/greeting all guests and answering the telephone
Supporting a 'member first' culture that delivers excellent service and optimises revenue opportunities
Identifying and recommending changes to improve business and operating efficiencies
Providing back-up support to other departments as required
Offering and promoting products/services to members and guests
Undertaking general clerical & administrative duties
To be successful in this role you will ideally possess previous front office experience in a hospitality environment, strong computer literacy and the ability to deliver superior quality customer service. You will effectively work unsupervised and possess an understanding of cross-selling, problem solving techniques and strong administrative and organisational skills.
Shifts will operate over a 7-day week rotating roster and the successful candidate must be able to work the full range of morning, day and evening shifts as required.
