hospitality awareness days - had (On hold)
The Tasmanian Hospitality Association is providing both government and non-government schools with an exciting and unique opportunity for students with an interest in working in the Hospitality industry to participate in a free all day program that will give students a direct insight into this fast paced and ever evolving industry. It will also help them to understand and dispel some of the myths around working in the Hospitality Industry, all so they can make an informed decision about whether or not they would like to explore a career in the hospitality industry. Please Note: Due to COVID-19, awareness days are currently on hold until restrictions are eased. Awareness days will resume as soon as it is safe to again.
hospitality awareness sessions - has (term 2 & 3)
Enrol your class for an online HAS (a replacement for our Awareness Days) conducted via Microsoft Teams and tailored to suit a double lesson.
An experienced hospitality ambassador will lead your class through a raw and realistic insight into what it is really like working in the fast paced, energetic world of hospitality. Highlighting the diversity of the industry and career and training opportunities.
During the HAS we hope to give Students a virtual tour of a venue, time to mix their own mocktail at home & time for Q&A.
Classes who participate in a Virtual HAD will be provided with follow up information and materials relevant to careers in hospitality.
